In the far, FAR future. Long after civilization has collapsed and humanity has all been snuffed out. Intelligent computers have left a legacy of their own. However, this is long after their collapse as well. Their world stands unmoving.

That is, until a long dead fabricator comes back to life. It has enough power left to regenerate the old Bootstrap Initiative. And so, an AI run vehicle is booted back up and prepared to run through the Sectors.

Why must it do this? That information has long since been lost to the annals of time. But it must run the course.

Luckily Tanner Johnson, the final AI, can still access the records, find the detailed run times of lond dead AI like itself. And race them.

For now however it must reestablish it's full memory capabilities.
