I know I said Everlasting Duty from Nioh was the worst boss fight ever made, but this might be worse to be honest. I don't know. They are both awful. But Mysterious Figure and Everlasting Duty stand alone at the top, no other notoriously shitty bosses even come close. Not bed of chaos, not anything from Dark Souls 2, none of that stuff. Even Gwyn who I personally hate with a passion isn't close, but he is terrible. Mysterious Figure is so bad a boss that he actually makes me consider whether or not he's worse than Nioh's Everlasting Duty which is a gank fight of two full fledged bosses that were never meant to go together. But this is just one guy. That's how bad he is. In fact, the more I think about it, the more I think he actually is worse than Everlasting Duty, they are very close, it's hard to make a call either way, but this guy is so fucking terrible.

Anyways strike raid does fatty damage but is only usable during the x move reliably, brutal blast is good for additional punishes on the wind move and fire pillar rush in phase 1, but by phase 2 those basically dry up since he starts combining those with other moves making them unpunishable and your damage will come only from the x attack and counters on the long melee combo if that even works since sometimes he just has i-frames. Horrid. Super RNG. Doing this "the honorable" way without surges is painstaking and unbearable.
