0This is my playthrough of Kirby Super Star on Super Nintendo from the Kirby 20th Anniversary game disc for Wii.
I am used to playing this game on an SNES controller and had a really hard time trying to adapt to this controller. It is a HORI turbo controller for Wii and kept thinking I was pressing up on the control pad. Anyway, this is my full 16 part playthrough of Kirby Super Star.
Like The Great Cave Offensive, this was played from memory. I show all power-up locations starting with copy ability marked by a small star above the lower planets. Your computer player really serves no purpose and is wise to just never create one. After defeating all the planets, you visit Nova to have your wish granted where Marx jumps in the way to have his wish instead. Battle through Nova like a Gradius game and destroy the heart. Next, it is time to battle the last boss, Marx.
After playing through this game, I must say that I am disappointed with Nintendo's lazy Virtual Console port and not include Super Star Ultra's games as well. I am usually against tampering with a good thing, but Super Star Ultra did it right and should have been included.
