Here's another gaming achievement I did in the past week. My most recent download from the Wii Shop Channel was Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, originally released for the Nintendo 64. It didn't take me long to figure it out and clear it, but the fact remains that I had a lot of fun cleaning out the bosses; as far as I know, that's possibly grown to a specialty of mine.

So, to cap it off, as soon as I got 100% I practiced and practiced the bosses ready to tackle the boss rush extra on the save file's options menu. This is the result of my labor!

Part 1 covers the first three bosses, so here we go.

Whispy Woods, a requestite in any Kirby game, pretty much REQUIRED it to be done without taking any damage whatsoever. Any mistake here would be pretty careless, and I'm glad I managed to get through the simplest boss in one piece.

Pix was a little tougher namely in part to finding the right position to survive the first form on. I tend to keep myself on the one tile that the green crystal doesn't touch as I tend to get into more of a groove this way for some interesting reason. Once that's done, it's clear sailing from here hitting those colored jacks towards the crystals themselves. I do hate it when they all gather together and move around the edge of the arena; I can barely hit them as they are so I just resort to flying over. Oh well, at least we're ok here.

Acro the whale is an interesting boss; it has a simple enough strategy of spitting stuff back at it whether on ground level or going up that long passage at the end, though how you hit it is up to you. Somehow I found myself trying to come to grips of holding a fishbone above my head, allowing its head to continuously shoot towards it. I found it more useful for the first form; I never risk shooting him while he's shooting the missiles until right at the end when it sounds easier to hit him and kill him off... or so it seemed; a mistiming of that caused me to lose my first HP here.

There's no commentary here as I just want the gameplay to speak for itself. Oh well, I'm happy.

Thanks for watching :D
