I wish I wish I could record this game better.

Also yeah last night when I was testing fraps it didn't lag at all, but today when I actually wanted make a video it decides I am unworthy.

Dxtory seems promising... I just need to mess with a few settings I think. I will perfect it tonight and then when tomorrow comes it'll all go to crap as usual hooray!


P.S. While recording, I have no other programs open, aero is disabled 100% of the time on my laptop, steam overlay is disabled, my sessions always consist of just one video's worth of content a day, and stopping then restarting a recording does not help in the slightest.

Also while recording I never actually max out the CPU or RAM but I don't know if those things matter as far as lag is concerned. My laptop actually has two graphics cards and can switch between them, maybe I'll try using the 'worse' one and see if it changes anything? (for recording Half-Life 2 this made a world of difference)
