Yeah, Brahma's trial is probably the most elaborate puzzle in the game, so if you want to solve it, here's the rundown!

REQUIREMENTS:

EGG OF CREATION - in TAKAMAGAHARA SHRINE, beat DAJI, the boss with the spike ceiling

ANCIENT BATTERY - in the IMMORTAL BATTLEFIELD, have to solve the UNLOCK THE BURIED FORTRESS puzzle and have the LIFE SIGIL to obtain the item.

In order to fully activate Brahma, you need to use the ANCIENT BATTERY on the slot then travel around EG-LANA to find 5 gods of CREATION. Using the EGG OF CREATION on them will activate the LIGHT associated with that god.

THE 5 GODS OF CREATION ARE:

Ymir - Icefire treetop (E-4)

Atum - Dark Lord's Mausoleum (C-3)

Chaos - Heaven's Labyrinth (C-1)

Amenominakanushi - Takamagahara Shrine (D-3)

Abzu - Ancient Chaos (C-2)

Now that all the lights are active and you have A LOT of weights to use, here's the solution, going from left to right:

-RED + PURPLE, head is GOLD. The symbol on the ball should be the PADMA LOTUS.

-BLUE + YELLOW, head is SILVER. The symbol on the ball should be the VEDAS TEXTS.

-PURPLE + GREEN, head is COPPER. The symbol on the ball should be the KAMANDALU WATER POT.

-RED + GREEN, head is STEEL. The symbol on the ball should be the MALU PRAYER BEADS.

Remember, this is from LEFT to RIGHT, so the first one (RED and PURPLE) is the leftmost terminal, the next one is BLUE and YELLOW, excetera.

Do all this and you'll get an update. A map of the entire ruin will project on the screen behind you, and you'll see the locations for any CRYSTAL SKULLS or MANTRAS you haven't collected yet. These actually show up on your map, so you don't need to decipher the projection, just open up your menu and check there.

CRYSTAL SKULLS are marked as BLUE STARS and MANTRAS are marked as RED STARS. if there are any you're missing, now at least you'll have a decent clue where they are.
