Enter the retro SNES RPG classic remaster from the Nintendo Switch, Breath of Fire II. Developed by Capcom, you play the character Ryu who is part of the Dragon Clan. He begins his journey as a young boy growing up in the village of Gate. With his father Ganer, a single parent and priest of the St. Eva church, as well as his sister Yua, everything seemed to be normal.
One day, Ryu falls asleep and his father and sister are no where to be found. Ryu meets up with a new friend, Bow and they venture out of Gate. They encounter a demon dragon called Barubary in a cave. They barely escape and eventually make their way to HomeTown. Ryu and Bow grow into adults and joined the Ranger Guild. As adventurers they take on posted jobs needed by the townspeople. However it isn't long before one job goes awry and Bow is accused of stealing a valuable item. In order to clear his friend's name and find the meaning of his dreams, Ryu will explore the world, eventually discovering the meaning of his dreams and hidden abilities inside himself.
