Now that we completed the main campaign on the hardest difficulty for DOOM 3 BFG back at QuakeCon 2023 live from the BYOC, it's time to go back and mop up these two expansions: Resurrection of Evil & Lost Mission! We also play these on the hardest difficulty available from the start, and plow through both expansions here. I felt like I liked Lost Mission slightly better, as it really felt like you were playing an original DOOM wad just with the DOOM 3 engine. Resurrection of Evil was also good for what it was, adding in a lot of new concepts like the heart health weapon, new enemies and things like that. I just kind of leaned more towards Lost Mission in terms of taking it back old school and really feeling like I was playing the original DOOM all over again as a custom level set.
