Let's Play Final Fantasy II (BLIND/Pixel Remaster) - Episode 16

This is the PC Pixel Remaster version of Final Fantasy II.
Last year I wanted to start a franchise playthrough of (at least) the mainline Final Fantasy games. Unfortunately, I didn't really get a chance to do that - But no more! There's quite a few Final Fantasy titles I've never had a chance to play, ones I've never finished, and ones I'd love to revisit. I felt that LP's would be a great way to handle that (Especially Blind).
I'm kicking things off with Final Fantasy II. The first game will get its time in the sun at a later date (I completed the first game off camera last year, and then tried to do a Let's Play of it after, but a rocky start postponed it & real life things caused me to scrap it).

For this LP, I won't be relying on an online guide to carry me through (Unless for some reason I become stupidly stuck). I only mention this, as I relied on a guide to get through the first game. However, I felt that playing the rest of the series through without one would be more natural & entertaining for a first time playthrough. Then I can do a second playthrough another time to achieve 100% completion.
Final Fantasy II takes things up a notch from the first game, which is not something I was expecting. More focus on story, and characters. A lot of cinematic moments, and of course the new combat experience system.. which is unfortunately neat in concept, but confusing and difficult to enjoy in execution compared to the previous game. We follow a group of orphaned individuals during a war between the Palamecian Empire and rebels. We are too weak to go up against the Empire though, and must prove ourselves for entry into rebellion.
Alright, so this is (technically) my third Final Fantasy LP on the channel, though I prefer considering it my second, as I have to redo the FFX LP down the road. So if you're new here, you must understand that my method of recording Let's Plays is generally old school. I don't heavily edit episodes, and leave almost all footage in (Except AFK situations, etc.). When I go to fight, every battle is left in. Every minute stuck in a dungeon is left in. However long it takes me to figure out my next objective, is left in. This is not only how I prefer to record, but it allows viewers who enjoy both seeing everything, and wanting to skip around, to have the optimal experience. Besides, I personally believe that such a way of recording/playing is important to a first time experience.
All episodes will be uploaded raw in 1440p at 60fps. No special intro or outro.
Doing a Let's Play of a classic JRPG with a central narrative? Imagine claiming the opposite just because you're wet salt.
NOTE: This Let's Play is marked as "BLIND". Which means it's my first time playing through and experiencing the game (Unless stated otherwise). Expect me to make mistakes, and take time to adjust to game mechanics.
