In The Beginning...- Rewards: Ocean View Hotel Safehouse
Forelli Crime Family Don, Sonny Forelli, his right hand man, and another unknown Forelli member, discuss Tommy Vercetti's release from prison, after he was arrested and jailed for killing eleven men during a botched hit; serving fifteen years behind bars. The mobsters decide to send Tommy to Vice City to man their drug operations there for a few months. After flying out to Vice City, Tommy, Ken Rosenberg (a lawyer who serves as the Forelli contact in Vice City), and mobsters, Harry and Lee, are driven in Ken's Admiral to a drug deal with the Vance Crime Family in Viceport. The Vances arrive by helicopter and begin the deal. However, the deal is ambushed, and Harry, Lee and one of the dealers are killed, while Tommy, Ken, and another dealer escape.
An Old Friend- Rewards: None
Tommy starts the mission outside Ken's office then heads to the Ocean View Hotel and goes upstairs to his hotel room. Upon entering his room, he calls his boss Sonny, the head of the Forelli Crime Family. Sonny wants to know how the drug deal involving Tommy and the Vance Crime Family went. Tommy informs him that the deal was ambushed and that both Harry and Lee, who had accompanied him and Ken, were killed. Sonny asks if he still has the money, which Tommy does not. An irate Sonny reminds Tommy that he is "not a man to be screwed with" and that Tommy will have to get his money back. Tommy reassures Sonny that he will get him his money and the drugs back. Sonny tells Tommy he will be in touch before hanging up, and the cutscene ends with Tommy angrily throwing the phone to the floor.
The Party- Rewards: $100, Soiree Outfit and Street Outfit
Tommy Vercetti goes to Ken Rosenberg's office trying to find some leads, following the orders of Sonny Forelli. Ken Rosenberg tells Tommy that Colonel Cortez is having a party on his yacht and that it would be best to start with Cortez, who set up the deal. Ken gives Tommy his invitation but tells Tommy to stop at Rafael's and get a new outfit. Tommy leaves the office and drives to Rafael's where he gets a new suit. Tommy then drives to the yacht at the marina and meets Cortez, who says they can talk about the ambushed drug deal later. He introduces Tommy to his daughter Mercedes Cortez, who then points out each of the party guests. However, when Ricardo Diaz arrives, she leaves with Tommy, having him drive her to The Pole Position Club.
Back Alley Brawl- Rewards: $200and a Pistol
Rosenberg wants Tommy to find out more information about the ambushed drug deal. Rosenberg tells Tommy to meet Kent Paul, the biggest rumor guy in the city, at the Malibu Club, where he can usually be found. Tommy meets Kent Paul, who tells Tommy about part-time chef and hitman Leo Teal, who's "been looking real pleased with himself lately". Tommy goes to an alley in Ocean Beach and beats Teal to death when he refuses to give him any information. Lance Vance then shows up and states that he too wants to find out about the deal, with his brother killed in the ambush. Three more chefs come outside and begin to chase Tommy and Lance, who go to Lance's white Infernus. Lance has Tommy drive to the Ammu-Nation store to show him where to get weapons, before returning to the Ocean View Hotel. Tommy gets out of the car with Lance saying he'll be watching Tommy, before he drives off.
Jury Fury- Rewards: $400
Tommy drops by Ken's office in Washington Beach where Ken tells him that the Forelli Crime Family is angry that they do not have the family's money. So, in the meantime, Tommy has to do them a favor; Sonny's cousin, Giorgio, is going to serve five years in prison for fraud unless the jury changes their minds. Tommy leaves Ken's office and sees a golfer run over a worker, who drops his hammer. Tommy takes the hammer (and optionally, the golfer's abandoned Glendale) and drives to either of the jurors. One of the jurors has his car parked at a high-rise building in Vice Point. Tommy smashes the car with his hammer until the juror comes out and runs away. Tommy then drives to the second juror. The other juror is standing next to his car in Ocean Beach, talking to a woman. Tommy approaches the second juror, who attempts to flee in his car but crashes into a passing Spand Express truck. Tommy smashes the car with a hammer until the second juror gets out and flees in fear.
