It doesn't look like there were any takers for someone to be a guest commentator on Normal Mode for Let's Play Kirby's Dream Land, so I'll be recording that solo. When I have another short game lined up, I'll be posting another casting call.


Hey there everybody!

It's been weeks since I've finished the game play for "Kirby's Dream Land," and I really would like it if someone would join me as a guest commentator for the Normal Mode of Let's Play Kirby's Dream Land, so I figured I would go ahead and do a open casting call for Let's Play Kirby's Dream Land.

However, there are a few requirements and guidelines for the Let's Play, and they are the following:


Requirements:

* You'll need to have Skype so we can do a Skype voice call (that and so I can record the call for when the commentary starts)

* You'll need to own a USB headset (because digital technology makes everything better; plus, that way, the external speakers of your computer or laptop won't pick up the video audio on the mic); if you don't have a USB headset, then you'll need a USB microphone and some headphones (if you want an example, check out the videos in which I was using an analog microphone and the videos in which I used a USB headset; you'll see why digital technology makes everything better)

* You'll need to live between the Pacific Time Zone and the Eastern Time Zone (my sincere apologies to those that live in either Alaska, Hawaii, or any U.S. territory that's outside those time zones, but I prefer not to have much of a time gap when I try to schedule a Skype call)

* This isn't really a requirement, but some knowledge of Kirby's Dream Land would be helpful


Guidelines:

* No swearing (I know there are a lot of Let's Players that swear, and there may be some games that I may end up playing that are rated E10+ or T by the ESRB, but I don't swear in any of my videos on YouTube)

* This is more of a suggestion than anything else, but unless you don't care about people finding out what your real name is, it would be preferred not to say your real name during the commentary; I've already said my real name and Internet nickname on my videos on YouTube, but then again, I don't care if people know my name or not


Random Stuff:

* I'll be using Amolto Call Recorder for Skype to record the audio from the Skype calls (I have tested out Amolto by recording the test call with Echo / Sound Test Service, and it works pretty well)

* I use a Logitech H390 USB Headset when I record my Let's Plays


Anyway, I would really like to start recording the commentary sometime in early May, so if you're interested and meet the following requirements, please feel free to send me a message on YouTube. I'll update the description when the casting period is closed, and I'll let everyone know if they've been selected or not.
