X-Wing is one of the games that i hold near and dear to me. As a tremendously addicted Star Wars fan, anything put out with the Star Wars logo found its way into my possession.

1993 was a year still new to the Space Sim. It is true that Elite and Wing Commander proceeded this title, however, at only 100,000 copies sold of either of them, they were far from todays successes.

I played X-Wing and its Sequels Tie Fighter and X-Win Alliance for years. Originally purchased for DOS and then again in a new digitally remastered edition, Star Wars X-Wing is once agin back on sale. This time through http://gog.com.
