Let's Play - Manor Lords - Steam Achievements (The Merchant) - Full Gameplay (Early Access Version)
Let's Play Manor Lords. Manor Lords Gameplay.
In this video, you will see me play Manor Lords (Early Access Release Version). This will be my Full Walkthrough Let's Play on how to complete the Steam Achievement for "The Merchant" and "Cheerful Metropolis". So No Hunting and Gathering Berries at the start of the game until you reach a small town settlement. And get 100% approval at the large town settlement. I attempted to do the "Mercenary Captain" achievement at the same time but that I doesn't work well with The Merchant achievement. You need to start hiring Mercs sooner to prevent the Baron Hildebolt from taking them and building up too many influences. Turns out there was a bug where the Baron claims his own land too which recreated an extra set of Troopers making the achievement twice as hard. (This VOD was streamed live on my Twitch Channel).

This game is a medieval city builder game similar to Banish and Farthest Frontier. It has a bit of a Frost Punk and The Settlers vibe. It shares many similarities to Thrive Heavy Lies the Crown, Fabledom, and Norland. Most of the game mechanics is what you'd expect in a city colony villager builder with a World Map that you can claim additional territories to expand into and develop another colony to manage and trade across your kingdom rule. It has combat mechanics as well depending on the scenario you choose (or custom settings), so it plays like a grand strategy against the other Lords on the map. It does have a farming crop rotations like Farthest Frontier and Backyard extensions seen in Fabledom that allowing workers to have their own means to produce goods. It's absolutely amazing in graphics and you'll want a good decent GPU card to actually appreciate the visual details. At the time of this video, Manor Lords is the #1 most Wishlisted game on Steam right now. And I highly recommend you wishlist too if you haven't. It releases into Early Access on April 26.
