Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga was a Gameboy game that was pretty well received, well enough that Nintendo decided to order a sequel for it, which is this game. Unfortunately it probably won't even be remastered due to the fall of AlphaDream, but PiT still holds many memories regardless. This game definitely adds new features, such as how you control twice as many characters and has arguably one of the more darker plots in the Mario series. Also interestingly, this game despite being on the DS made almost no attempt to use the touch screen, something that Bowser's Inside Story would build on.
