4I told ya we'd finish up the Forest King Last episode! Thankfully we get a little change of scenery this episode. Not that the trees and tall grass was getting me down or anything. I kind of like how The Flooded City looks. I even more so like the huge fucking Leviathan. All I thought we were going to do was some missile reconnaissance. Trust me *wink wink* that's deeeefinitely all we do this episode. Promise. No sarcasm at all. You should totally only watch for the recon. I hope I don't need a /s. Enjoy!

Welcome back to another Let's Play! This time around I will be doing a blind playthrough through as many endings as I can possibly find in the new title from Platinum Games published by Square Enix, Nier Automata on my PS4. I am super excited to be joining you all again to share my experiences, even more so with this game that I have been so hyped about for a very long time. I don't know if my gameplay will do it justice, but it seems like Platinum games have fine-tuned a winner here insofar as fluid combat dynamics and movement goes! Just look at how silky smooth things are! Color me a very happy camper. I hope you can all find some enjoyment here as the game has a little for everyone if it is anything like its predecessor, Nier, was. Without further ado, I give you all, Nier: Automata!

Nier: Automata is an action role-playing video game developed by Platinum Games and published by Square Enix for PlayStation 4 and PC. Nier: Automata is a sequel to the 2010 video game Nier, a spin-off of the Drakengard series. Set in the midst of a proxy war between machines created by otherworldly invaders and the remnants of humanity, and tells the story of androids 2B, 9S, and A2 and their battle to reclaim the machine-driven dystopia overrun by powerful machines. Gameplay combines role-playing elements with action-based combat and mixed genre gameplay similar to that of Nier. Nier: Automata is set on a post-apocalyptic Earth thousands of years after the events of the original Nier. The player takes the role of combat androids from the YoRHa units across an open world environment.
The story is based around themes similar to Taro's earlier works, such as people's impulse to kill, while also incorporating issues such as confronting of prejudice and escaping difficult situations. The goal was to make a Nier game true to the spirit of the original, while simultaneously crafting better gameplay combat.
