Fabian fiel durch ein Missgeschick in einen Teich inmitten des Verbotenen Waldes. Um nach Hause ins Quelldorf zu kommen, zieht er unbekümmert ein Schwert aus einem Stein. Doch im Dorf war niemand erfreut über seine Rückkehr. Da er das Mana-Schwert gezogen hat, wird er von seiner Heimat verbannt. Nun muss er allein zurecht kommen. Vielleicht findet er auf seiner Reise durch die Welt heraus, was es mit diesem legendären Schwert wirklich zutun hat und vielleicht auch, wer er selbst wirklich ist.
