Xenonauts is Turn Based Strategy Game taking place on an alternate reality earth during the Cold War.
The world is in the grip of an Invasion by a Hostile Alien Race. You are the commander of the Xenonauts, an elite military force that
is the last defence for mankind. The Xenonauts must declare war against the hostile invaders, engaging their spacecraft in the air
and engaging in deadly battles with heavily armed hostile Aliens
Success in Xenonauts depends on players using clever tactics to overcome an enemy with superior technology, capturing or killing
your enemies and stealing their weapons and equipment
Xenonaut scientists can unlock the secrets of the Alien Invaders through research, reverse engineering the Technology
and using it to create their own Weapons and Vehicles to end the Invasion once and for all.
In the Third Episode of Xenonauts, new radar arrays are installed providing improved coverage of the region and a better
change to identify the invading alien spacecraft. After a successful engagement in the air a crashed alien ship in the snow triggers
a pitched arctic battle with the veteran members of the team giving no quarter to the invaders.
Xenonauts is a fantastic strategy title from Goldhawk Interactive that pays homage to Xcom, the gold standard for Turn Based Games.
I recommend all strategy fans to try this title.
