Freedom planet is everything that was great about the original sonic the hedgehog games on megadrive / genesis, upgraded and working beautifully on PC. With its own plot (occasionally with overlong cut-scenes) and cast of charachters, its a love letter to a forgotton era. The question remains however, is it any good, and does it hold up today?..
