Even when you set it apart from all the controversy and the lies, even when you try to give Limbo Of The Lost the benefit of the doubt, being the first game of a small studio, this is still one of the most badly designed and half-assed games I've ever had to sit through.

I can manage a chuckle at the hackneyed dialogue, the ugly-as-all-fuck modelling and animation, I can even forgive the story for being a rambling, incoherent mess. It's just that when you put it all together, alongside a clear drop-off in the quality and clarity of the game's progression that it becomes clear that all of these charmingly crap qualities aren't the result of people trying their best, but simply slapping shit together in order to ship the product.

A threadbare con job that can't even rip off its source material well.
