A video of me rewriting my reality through the demo of Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom as our favorite moon bunny markswoman, Reisen Undogein Uchiha Inaba. And don't tell me her name is otherwise because I won't believe you!

Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom [Touhou Kanjuden (東方紺珠伝, lit. "Eastern Tale of the Ultramarine Orb")], is the fifteen game of the Touhou Project series. The Touhou Project is a series that secretly wanted to be a heartwarming war story about the struggles of a defect bunny soldier that possessed great and terrible power in her eyes. As she starts a journey of self-discovering, the dark secret of the Lunar Wars surfaces, the legacy of her lunatic clan of eye obsessed bunny ninjas haunts her, and the balance of the world hangs by the metaphorical string.

The birds are chirping, the dogs are barking, the frogs are kero-ing, and we still don't have a clue of what the fox says. We do know the rabbits squeal and nibble. It's that time of the year were Reitaisai occurs and ZUN grants us mortal the pleasure to play another chapter on the epic that is Touhous. This time around he decides to bring us two stories. A story about the Legacy of Lunatic Kingdoms and a story about Urban Legends in Limbo. Since the latter is a fighting game, let's tackle the former.

LoLK... will cause controversy. The PointDevice mode is basically an alternate Easy mode. Maybe this is a way for ZUN to cater the more casual market, which I'm actually excited about. I really wish ZUN would open his games more to other markets. DDC being released in Playism is good step.

So far the game seems fairly standard. You have four characters. I haven't played as anyone other than Reisen, but if previous games are any indication, Reimu will have some sort of homing shot, smaller hitbox, and her bomb is gonna be a variation of Fantasy Seal. Marisa will have a powerful shot type, a skill related to collecting items, and Master Spark. Finally Sanae will do Sanae stuff. Cannot be held back by common sense and all that.

Let's talk Reisen.

REISEN HAS FUCKING IZANAGI AS HER BOMB!!!!!

Everything else about Reisen is straightforward. Then there's her bomb. Rather than a traditional bomb you gain three charges. Every time you get hit afterwards consume a charge and you carry on. To make a comparison, is like the Izanagi in Naruto, which allows its user to rewrite reality, including their own death. Although the bomb has no offensive power and the invulnerability frame is pathetic (you can easily lose two charges in a row if you don't move to safety), you are still effectively giving the player three extra lives at the cost of a bomb. It's stupidly strong, IMO.

As for the bosses:
- Seiren is a moon rabbit part of... let's call it Lunatic Infantry!
I'm seeing her being portrayed as a yandere due to the red mochi on her hammer that looks suspiciously like blood. From her we learn that this time around the Lunarians are invading Earth. Guess they got fed up with Yukari fooling around again. Gameplay wise she is very solid, but once you get the hang of it she's manageable. Her ability is apparently throwing bullets from other dimensions.

- Ringo is another moon rabbit, this one gets stronger by eating dango... not much else to say about her other than her fashion sense is an offense against eyesight's everywhere. Also, my guess is she will receive the Wriggle Nightbug treatment of looking too masculine. Also, fuck her nonspells.

- Finally, Doremy Sweet is a baku. Hence the tail and the Santa Claus hat, which is actually a sleeping hat. You probably know of at least another baku in popular culture: Drowzee and Hypno from Pokemon. Similarly Munna and Musharna are two other baku Pokemon. So she is basically a tapir that eats dreams. We find her in a "lunatic dream" on our way to the moon capital. And the closer we get to the moon capital the more chances of encountering the Lunatic Bitches. So exciting!
Her circular pattern is a pain.

With that said, I liked the challenge this time around and I'm, as always looking forward to the finished product.
