3Long Plays #87. Dying Light is First-person action survival game set in a post-apocalyptic open world overrun by flesh-hungry zombies. Roam a city devastated by a mysterious virus epidemic. Scavenge for supplies, craft weapons, and face hordes of the infected. pretty fun, and great co-op too.
This is the eightiesevenff entry of my Long Play series. Today we are playing "Dying Light" on Steam. really fun, story rich, open world, melee combat action, and best with co-op. im playing with my dear ol dad, Tominator.
The idea of a long play is, to capture the raw game play experience, with little to no added commentary, effects, jokes, memes, jump cuts, edits or otherwise molest the original game play recording. I believe a long play should not be a review, tutorial, or anything else to effect the experience of the actual game play (that would be the purpose of my "Let's Try Out" or a "let's play" video series). I think mostly this sort of video formula is employed when playing single player only games where story and experience is largely structured, linear, non open world, and non-emergent gameplay.
