Continuing with Shin Megami Tensei today as we make our way to a fork in the road, ending up in Ginza and getting a bit lost. but at least Ginza's music is great

I decided on this version over the PS1 or GBA versions mainly just because it's the 30th anniversary of the series and I'd like to see where it started. (However yes, I am fully aware that this is at odds with my first playthrough last year where I played the PSP remake of Persona 1 for the 25th anniversary.)

It's easily the oldest game that I'll have played on the channel but it's one that I've been looking forward to playing for a while. I know a few things here and there about the game but for the most part I'm going to be playing this blind. I should probably note that as of the time of me playing this the only mainline Megaten games I've played are Nocturne and SMT V.

Also it may be important for me to note that youtube seems kind of iffy with copyright on this game's soundtrack so I'm basically just going to try to keep myself talking at all times and having the music a bit lower which is a shame because this game's soundtrack is genuinely fantastic and creates a very strong atmosphere around it, so much so that songs from this still get remixes in both mainline SMT and Persona now.
