Low Ground Advantage? Yes.
99Quake Champions
For people who are unsure about whether it's advantageous to have the low ground in an LG vs LG fight.
This applies to most scenarios with most weapons.
Few exceptions would be when the High ground has Rockets or maybe sometimes with Tribolt, as well (depending on the range, of course.)
Due to the way Quake Champions is with Eye level, Models and its Hitboxes, Dodging and the Knockback:
The person on the low ground can see the person on the high ground sooner when he peeks. Not only this, but also the knockback favors the person on the low ground, because of dodging.
This is completely unaffected by pings and d-sync.
However, there is a different mechanic that is affected by Pings and Client vs Server Side, which is called the "Peeker's advantage." This is a completely different thing and has nothing to do with Low Ground Advantage (which is only based on positioning.)
