Hi guys, today I bring Fortnite on the M1 Mac. The thing is that, ever since Apple and Epic got into a fight, they stopped updating the version for macOS. So here we're stuck on version 13.4 and I believe that now its 18 (at the time of this being written). Resolution is set between 720p and 900p in order to get a steady 60fps without issues. It really depends on thermal throttling, the M1 could easily hit 1080p 60fps but since the MacBookAir has no active cooling, it heats up a lot, causing thermal throttling. At 720p with mid to low settings, you can get a very playable 60fps with the temperature hovering between 80 and 90ºC. Possibly dropping the settings all the way to low could lower a bit the temperature. For sure the MacBook Pro, MacBook Pro M1 Pro and M1 Max will handle this no problem.
