now with that being said, what if another basketball league came to rival the NBA? What would that look like and would they even succeed?

The USBL was originally founded in 1985 and ceased operations in 2008 which aimed to be the “league of opportunity” sort of similar to what the G-League is now, a place to develop talent in hopes to join the NBA The USBL featured the likes of many future stars such as Nate Archibald, Manute Bol, Spud Webb, Mugsy Bogues, World B Free, and Terrell Owens.
