Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga - Part 16: The Three Chuckola Fruits
4Mario & Luigi continued their quest through Chucklehuck Woods in their search for the Chuckola Reserve for Queen Bean.
They eventually run into a giant protector of the woods: Chuckleroot.
Before they let him pass, Chuckleroot challenges the Mario Bros. to bring through different Chuckola Fruits to him: White, Red, and Purple.

Beware of the Fuzzbushes. They can launch purple Fuzzies that poison the plumbers. Use Refreshing Herbs to cure them, or just win the battle.

Along the way to one of the fruits, you run into one of Chuckleroot's granddaughters. She will teach how you can use Buried Luigi to nab red beans called Chuckle Beans. They will be in circled Xs in the ground. I already did something like this before.

To get to the Red Chuckola Fruit, you'll first have to fight a Wiggler, and it will be red-hot angry! Hit its segments back to yellow to calm it down, allowing you to properly damage it on its sad head.

The Purple Chuckola Fruit is found inside of a cave. You will need the Mario Bros. to work together with some special platforms in order to get towards the path that leads into the purple fruit.

The White Chuckola Fruit is found through a trial of sorts where you'll need to use both Small Mario and Buried Luigi to open up a path, but then hurry to the white fruit before time runs out.

Returning with the Three Chuckola Fruits, Chuckleroot lets the Mario Bros. pass him. Unfortunately for them, Popple & Bo- I mean ROOKIE were waiting to get a head start towards this new path.
Mario & Luigi will have to hurry to that Chuckola Reserve!
