23Today we're taking a look at the Marvel Legends Nightcrawler action figure by Hasbro from the new X-Men '97 Animated Series wave.
Have you been watching the new X-Men 97 animated series? I have, and boy did it hit me hard in last week's episode. Go take a look at episode 5 if you haven't already - its some hella good telly. It's also the episode in which Nightcrawler makes an animated return.
I've been waiting on a new nightcrawler figure for a little while. I procrastinated over the Nightcrawler fig from the Wendigo wave (his head seemed too youthful to me) and it was around the time I was just turning my head to Marvel Legends and was being more selective. That didn't last long and I regretted it ever since. So... is this one a strong successor to fill the Nightcrawler gap in my X-Men line up?
In this vid I will unbox the Nightcrawler figure, discuss my impressions of the action figure experience, and run down the facts. (Such as his aesthetic, articulation, and accessories.) It's a thorough review, with all the pro's and con's as I see them discussed.
