This month marks the 25th anniversary of Mega Man X. It was released in Japan on December 17, 1993 for the Super Famicom. A month later it was ported to North America for the SNES so that’s where it really counts for me. Whether you want to call 2019 the 26th, or the 25th anniversary, I don’t care. I just want to talk about one of favorite games of all time and its legacy. For the purposes of this retrospective I played through all eight main entries. Enjoy!
