Mega Dimension Neptunia VII (pronounced V-2) is for the most part a generic JRPG. But there are things that show that when Idea Factory is willing to put in some time and money they can produce a better then average JRPG but there not going to commit to that all the way. That said the writing and satire here is not only funny but it's spot on but it's also clairvoyant poking fun of loot boxes and peoples frustration with the triple A industry almost a year before the crap hit the fan in that area . The humor and writing is excellent that I can almost look over the creepy fan service. If your a gamer who likes jokes and satire this game might be worth looking into if you can find it at the right price
