Metroid II® Return of Samus™1991 Nintendo Gameboy“ | Cleaning Review

This time for the second glorious gameboy game we have Metroid II® Return of Samus™1991 we take apart the cartridge clean the contact pads and reminisce about the first time playing this on the original gameboy. I recall that this was my brothers game as I had Zelda the previous game cleaned and reviewed.

(Story-Time)

So in order for me to play this I would sneak into my brothers room with the potential of getting caught and beat up by him. So I got rather clever and would wait till he had to do chores and would nab it up without getting caught and I would play it without the volume on or I would hide up in the attic of the garage which was perfect as I could climb around to get up there my brother could not
However he'd just wait for me to climb down and would hide to catch me if he busted me going into his room. It was a minor couple of years before it wasn't an issue anymore, by me moving on to another game Megaman II and Final Fantasy Legend II, using the game genie. I found very interesting codes for some of these gameboy games, one we printed out some codes and tapped them to the back of the cart which is how the gameboy game genie inserted the carts. The code was for FFLII where you would receive a sellable item that maxed out your gold in game many others but the story behind Metroid II I beat it but had to borrow it from my brother at great risk! ~fin~
