Metroid Prime Hunters - One Minute Game Review
One minute review of Metroid Prime Hunters:
In this game Samus needs to acquire an ancient powerful technology in a cluster of 4 different planets and deliver it to the Federation before any other bounty hunter can get it. The story's basis are pretty great but the execution is kinda mediocre. Exploration and puzzles are able to convey that “ah-ha!” feeling of every Metroid game, but they are not very rewarding as the only unlocks Samus gets are alternative beams, and most of her important abilities are ready to go from the start. From a technical standpoint it's impressive to see a Metroid Prime game on the Nintendo DS but the combat gets more challenging than it actually is due to the aiming being stylus based, especially each time you meet one of the eight copy-pasted bosses of the game. The atmosphere is very spooky and the final boss was enjoyable, although I only fought it once and without the proper weapon needed to kill it.
