In speedrunning, 2 and 3 spot photos refer to taking all four photos of Ray from either 2 or 3 positions, with the former being slightly faster. 3 spot photos are possible on all versions of the game, but traditionally 2 spot photos would only work when the game ran at a widescreen aspect ratio (i.e. PC Substance with the widescreen hack, HD Collection, Master Collection). This new setup works when PC Substance runs at its original 4:3 aspect ratio*. This should be roughly a second faster than the 3 spot photos strategy that speedruns done on PS2, OG Xbox, and PC Substance (4:3) would usually use.
