VR headset: HP Reverb G2
PC Specs: 3700X - 2070S - 32 GB
Controls: Trustmaster TFlight 4 HOTAS

OpenXR dev tools (the slider): To be found in Microsoft Store
My current settings for FS2020VR:
OpenXR render 50% (Motion Reprojection DISABLED)
Ingame render 70%
Other settings mostly high/ultra see https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/how-to-graphics-settings-and-performance-guide-1-08-2021/132407 also check https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJf2dudW-o4 and do check https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360018555179-How-to-install-OpenXR-
OpenXR can not be captured very good (unlike SteamVR, Quest2, OBS, etc). This is an experiment, cropping the right eye (900x900) from OpenXR (1920x1080) output
Capture process:
You'd be surprised to hear what I did (I was surprised that it worked and gave reasonable results)
I set FS2020 to full screen 1920x1080 (PC) and ofc play in VR When playing, the monitor will show your 2 eyes in this 1920x1080. Now I used the std Windows/Xbox game capture. Let windows record in the background. Now pressing Alt+WIN+G saves the last 5 minutes into mp4. After that I used AviDemux software to crop the right eye (900x900) from this. The end result you see here. It, surprisingly, is still acceptable
I guess my 3700X has little trouble with recording inbackground while playing. I didn't feel FS2020 was hold back by the background recording
Hope this clarifies a bit
