After around four months of the Zero/ZX Legacy Collection, I bring to everyone a new series. The Mindseize Playthrough. In Mindseize, we play a private investigator known as M.C. Fox who is chasing after the criminal syndicate The Ascended. Our first confrontation with the Ascended leaves us permanently crippled and our daughter Taryn in a coma cause her mind was captured. Our hopes and body crushed, we end up drinking our sorrows away until at a bar, we encounter the leader of a mercenary group.

The group's leader, a man named Raven, tells us that he can give us the tools we need in order to find the Ascended and rescue Taryn's mind. With little other options, we join his crew and connect our consciousness into a robotic body called a MAG. With the MAG, we and the crew continue the chase of the Ascended. Our first lead on where the Ascended could be takes us to a planet called Verdant Gamma, a lush, green world that is being infected by a poison.

In this episode, we, in our MAG, begin our exploration of Verdant Gamma and , after meeting a hermit whose ship crashed here and one of the Ascended, a green monkey (or reptile looking) armored being called Drifter Hanu, end up killing a bee hive in our path to finding upgrades that will allow us to get to Hanu.
