MiSTer FPGA - Galaga '90 (ギャラガ'88) / TurboGrafx-16 (PC Engine)
13(1440p/60) THAT IS GALACTIC DANCING! I cleared this my first time recently for a MiSTer FPGA Discord challenge I hosted. The first clear was streamed on Twitch but unfortunately had some frame drops & buffering on the final stage and boss. This video is my second clear for the game, also in better quality than the Twitch stream. This is an excellent follow-up to the original Galaga and well worth checking out on TurboGrafx/PC Engine! There is also an X68000 port of this game I plan on trying in the future. It'll be interesting to see any differences and enhancements over this version and also compare it to the arcade original.
MiSTer's PC Engine core was transformed into the most accurate way to play this console besides original hardware, largely in part thanks to efforts by srg320. He also created our SNES, Sega CD and Sega 32x cores, and is currently working on a Sega Saturn core for MiSTer.
