Here it is, the first part of my Mario Kart retrospective review in the celebration and release of Mario Kart 8 in the tail end of May. I do apologise for the lack of reviews recently, but certain commitments meant that my reviews had taken about 2 months before a new one is out, but I hope this was worth the long wait.

In this part, I look at and review the first 4 instalments of the Mario Kart series (not counting the arcade games), "Super Mario Kart," "Mario Kart 64," "Mario Kart Super Circuit" and "Mario Kart Double Dash." Each game in the series (such as Double Dash) brings some new mechanics and innovations in the gameplay to the table as well as some changes to the main GP system without stretching the formula too far beyond it's limits, but how does each game fare in my own light? Well, watch the retrospective to find out!
