What does it take to receive the title of "Tenka Musou"? Is it when you fell a thousand warriors in a single battle? Why do that when you can settle for the far less destructive path of making nice with a Pokémon and simply conquering the land with your cute critter? ...Wait whaddya mean this has less to do with Samurai Warriors?
Yeah, what a strange crossover! Nobunaga's Ambition and Pokermen? That one strategy game Koei Tecmo has that never saw the light of the west until this, then proceeded to stay dormant until Awakening? Funny how that works. And more to the point - it's a good mix! Like this _works!_ The decision to use the colorful Samurai Warriors 3 officer designs was a pretty smart one too, helps make the game more marketable.
So we're rocking in the Ransei region potentially many years before any other mainline game - the locale is sprawling with famous warlords from the real life Warring States period in Japan. You're some bumbling warlord from the Kingdom of Aurora when you run into this total cutiepie named Oichi. Like her Jigglypuff, she's a real sweetheart and sees great potential in you. With your Eevee, the four of you work together to set your claim on Ransei and slowly but surely become "Tenka Musou." It's just that simple.
Ah yes, Nobunaga Oda! He's your main antagonist in this campaign as he's set to conquer most of Ransei with his trusty Zekrom, what a badass. The two of you will come to blows before long, so you'll need to build up a proper team to fight the Demon King. Lend me your strength, Oichi!
