With The Glory Star now stranded on an alternate Earth that has now found itself in the midst of an alien invasion, they take a chance to survey the local help this Earth has to offer. Bratty Kappei Jin has just found himself in the cockpit of his family's ancestral machine, the Zambo Ace, and uses it to light up the unwelcome Gaizok Mechaboosts that have started trouble. Despite his less than savory attitude, his skills are true and everyone figures he's on the up and up. With aliens in one direction and the hostile Earth Alliance demanding the strange machines come work for them in the other, Setsuko wonders what she's meant to do with herself.
The Glory Star chooses to go on the run with Kappei's family in order to learn more about them and their own situation. They happen upon a late night shindig featuring many of Earth's most powerful figures gathered by one mighty individual, the enigmatic Klein Sandman. Sending everyone to the Dreamland Express is the last thing on his mind though - no, he's here to ask for help in dealing with *another* alien invasion force in the Zeravire. Fortunately, he's got a group of five pilots ready to demonstrate his plan to save the Earth from turmoil, and, oh look at that! A sixth just wandered into his lap! The exact number he needs to achieve Graviton Criticality and go on the offensive.
