Shroomless SC! @ZumoDePapaya demonstrated that it's possible to execute the new shortcut without mushrooms. After some practice, I realized it was easier than the previous set up. Initially, I achieved it with the Standard RB but I didn't get any clean lap with it, and then switched to egg1 for further attempts, as the setup felt more comfortable.
Still not sure which kart is faster. ST RB is probably faster, ROB-BLS is probably faster as well. However, this discovery also makes it feasible to do 3lap attempts, and I believe that egg1 will be the kart choice there.
