Hey everyone and welcome back to another geek corner playthrough.
Today we will be starting up Mortal Kombat 9 released in 2011 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
This was the first game to release after the shutdown of Midway games and was the first game in the now rebooted trilogy of MK 9 - MK 11. The story takes place after the ending of Mortal Kombat Armageddon and reboots the series during the events of MK 1 - (1993) and concludes with the events of MK 3. But what makes this one interesting is that it's a retelling of all three games and would show characters during the first timeline who would not show up until later games in the series which i found to be a nice touch.
In this playthrough i will focus mainly on the story mode and have broken up the episodes by timelines in the series starting with the first game.
