[MSFS2020] | THE ISLES OF SCILLY - SOUTH WEST UK COAST BY REALVFR | WE GET THE CHOPPER OUT !
20Hello Folks and welcome to this week's first review and as promised, we get the BELL 407 Helicopter out and go exploring the beautiful SCILLY islands. This island group comprises some 140 land masses with five of the islands being inhabited and much of the land owned by the Duchy of Cornwall.
This rendition by RealVFR is a really nice version that includes so much to explore - and so much that I have not touched in this video! These islands are some of the warmest places in the UK in the Winter months, thanks to the influence of the Gulf Stream and RealVFR have modelled them in stunning detail. The scenery includes St. Mary's airport, Tresco Heliport and various points of interest such as Bishops Rock Island, complete with helipad and other landing places for you to explore. After discussing the history behind these islands, we take the helicopter out, departing from Round Island Helipad and take a tour to include St. Mary's, Tresco and finally a landing out at the most westerly point, the helipad on top of Bishop Rock Lighthouse. We end with a dusk flight back to St. Mary's airport. Come and join me and see what you think.
