The "Too Long, Didn't Watch" Review:
Very unique. Truly amazing graphics. The gameplay and controls are much smoother than it appears at a glance. Addicting puzzles. Not the same style, but definitley on par with Portal as far as top-notch puzzle games go. 4/5 Worth the $15
The "Meat & Potatoes" Review:
Mushroom 11 is very unique. Right from the beginning you know you've gotten into something strange...different.....fun. The gameplay and controls SEEM wonky until you actually try it out and get going, then it is actually VERY fluid. You essentially prune away at your amorphous blob to get it to move along the level. That's it. These levels, though....puzzles, obstacles and even bosses. That's right, there are some really fantastic boss battles in this little puzzle platformer about an amorphous blob. In fact, the boss battles are one of my favorite parts! I got that same feeling I got when I played Portal for the first time after accomplishing some of the puzzles, thinking to myself "Hey, you're pretty damn clever, Gamer Guy (In a Suit)!". The visuals are very beautiful, especially considering you are basically exploring a post-apocolyptic wasteland. The music is also well done, and (again) I am not big on most video game music. I cannot wait to dive in for more. This game is superb. A solid 4/5. Worth every penny.
