Yuuya has fully committed to this venture. With a stolen mech and having betrayed everything and everyone there really is no going back. With the help of Inia he breaks into the medical facility and finds Cryska. Now the hard part, getting out while under fire. Yet the oddities continue where the soldiers that find them seem unwilling to risk shooting Inia or Yuuya despite the situation. The deeper we dig the more we dig up.

As mankind races to create new weapons to turn the tide in its war against alien invaders, Yuuya, a hot-headed American pilot, is assigned to work with a beautiful but cold Japanese officer on a top-secret project. Can they learn to work together in time to make the weapon that saves us all?
This is another well received addition to the Muv-Luv universe. Time and time again this Universe has pulled me head over heels into a world of humanity facing inhuman foes. The characters and the wars they fight both without and within. I have played through a majority of the Muv-Luv series and side stories.
