Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom Let's Play - City Of Cheaters (Part 10)
0Welcome everyone to Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. This will be played on the PC Steam version. I never got around to playing the first game, though it always interested and looked good to me. So with the second one coming out, it seemed like a good time to get in and try it out. At the time of writing this description I have about 8 hours into the game. I absolutely love it! It reminds me of playing JRPG games that I played over 15 years ago and what an amazing feeling that is. The gameplay is far different in this than Legend Of The Dragoon for example, yet playing this reminds of playing that for the first time, it's great. Anyway back on track, we are the young king of the Ding Dong Dell here, our name is Evan. A strange event happens that sends a modern day president named Roland back who knows how long in time. He meets Evan, we become best pals and set out on our journey. I won't spoil the story that I know so far here, but I am enjoying it thus far. Pretty basic but well structured, so it passes in my book.
The gameplay here is a ton of fun and very fluid. This is and RPG game but the combat is more action oriented than it is turn based. There is a ton of different loot in the game which takes over our traditonal stat leveling mechanics. In this our gear determines our stats directly while leveling up gives automatic stat boosts, we do not choose what we want. Normally I am not a fan of this system, even here I'm not entirely on board, but with the multitude of loot available we are allowed to craft certain builds and playstyles that suit you most. All in all I like it and it works out perfectly. Anyway that will do it for this, have a nice day and thanks for stopping by.
