My fav subject matter, tech with robots and future tech.
I like the subject matter.
The game is quirky at times switching from 3D open into side scroller depending on the location.
The heroes and enemies are depicted as automatons, thus sidestepping moral issues of attacking people as a past time..
Granted they look like people, but have the ability to download.
This fantasy is the hope of some evolutionist belief system in a world that we know is running down.
While, as an engineer I have examined the power levels of what is inside us, and concluded that there is something hugely powerful (some other force) keeping us alive, This fantasy allows escape from the reality of it all.
