Welcome back to hell. Act 7 has only 2 checkpoints, in between 7-1 and 7-2, then 7-2 and 7-3. 7-1 is short but tough unless you be careful and take it slow around the enemies that give you the most trouble, to avoid jumping into a spot where you'll likely get hit.
7-2 is a lengthy stage, with some precise platforming. If you brought the fire wheel in from act 7-1, you could just use it to easily run through most of the stage, as it gives you a lot of opportunities to completely refill your spirit points. In fact, most of the powerups you can find in 7-2 help a lot.
7-3 is arguably tougher, especially the once section where you have to kill the giant flying robots while the ground disappears, and getting hit in the wrong place will for sure knock you into the pit. there's a lot of waiting involved with the spikes, so completing all of act 7 on the same timer is almost impossible unless you keep the fire wheel all the way through act 7 up until this point.
Then there's another three final bosses (Clancy's two forms and the giant warmech); the first is the hardest with how hard it is to dodge his lightning, which can easily hit you if you're not constantly running.
The second form is way easier. Start by running to the right side of the room and getting in some attacks from on the right wall, and then alternate between the sides as its energy attack rises up, while you jump off the left and right walls to slash the head.
The warmech requires patience. Don't jump and slash at the wrong time; that will leave you open to getting hit. You can use the flame powerup if you still have spirit points leftover. Once the glass is off, go for the orb. Try not to slash it unless you're able to hit it from the ground or confident you can easily move out of the way of the lasers.
