In Defiant Honor, players will get to experience a bitter winter at Osaka Castle, the largest and most impregnable castle of the Sengoku era. William will be facing off with a new samurai, Sanda Yukimura who is regarded as one of the greatest and last true samurai in Japan – we are really excited for you to experience this!
Defiant Honor would not be complete without providing players with the necessary ammo to wage an intense battle. Nioh’s new DLC will therefore contain a range of new features to help players get through this fierce winter battle including new deadly weapon Tonfa, new armor, new magic items, guardian spirits and of course brand new Yokai and enemies to test your mettle! New difficulty levels and Trophies have also been implemented alongside exciting new stages and numerous sub-missions so players have plenty of combat and new challenges to master.
In Nioh, players will traverse war-torn Japan as William, a blonde-haired swordsman whose background as a fierce warrior and seasoned knowledge of the blade allows him to survive in the demon-plagued land of the samurai. Known as Yokai, these demons inhabit a number of dangerous locations and lie in wait in the shadows to ambush unsuspecting victims. Players will also face off with other samurai in supernatural sword battles and intense, multi-target engagements offering a level of difficulty that will truly test even the most hardened samurai’s skills, patience, and strategy.
Offering a deep and original storyline that takes place during the Warring States Period of Japanese history alongside strategic sword-fighting action, Nioh will challenge players in a way that makes every mission and accomplishment feel earned and worthwhile.
