Nox Plays... Cities: Skylines: Green Cities (Let's Play) | #17: Noxdo, a Destination City
Although it's been two weeks since the last episode, we pick right back up from where we left the last episode: making Noxdo a destination city. It appears that we have a great number of people arriving via our harbour, and surely, as soon as we unlock the airport, we'll have even more people visiting our semi-booming city. Unfortunately, we don't exactly have the proper amount of hotels to house them all, so we must plan out a new tourism district. With an expanded focus on tourism, it seems that some of these tourists desire to become lifelong residents of Noxdo, creating an increasing demand for residential. During my sick time, I planned out exactly how I wanted the area around Central Park to look, and the majority of it is going to be residential. With that in mind, we begin construction on a relatively large-scale project to implement more high-density residential into our city. This will allow us to clear the "entrance" to the city of residential areas so we can move our main tourism district there. So much work, so little time!
