Nox Plays... Cliff Empire | Let's Play/Gameplay | Ep. 3: West Coast Best Coast
A new update is upon us, and with the update comes upgraded graphics, a more informative UI, and so much more! This time around, we face droughts, excessive cloudiness, and additional problems that nearly turn East Cliff into a deserted wasteland. Meanwhile, Central Cliff and, particularly, West Cliff prosper. In fact, West Cliff is so prosperous that it begins producing drones to send off to the other cities. Maybe with West Cliff's aid, East Cliff will be able to make a comeback. Otherwise, we may have to count it out for good following the next natural disaster.

Message for survivors on the Earth's orbit!
After a nuclear war life on the surface became impossible. A 300m thick radioactive fog covered the Earth.
Our scientists in the past decade predicted such course of events and used all available potential to build cliffs in the mountain region to restore life on Earth.
We are looking for bold active people to manage the process of restoring life on Earth. Join!

- 35 additional university researches to improve the city structure
- 29 structures for constructing the city
- 11 goods for trade and consumption

First impressions: As far as post-apocalyptic simulation games go, this has to be one of my favourites. The resource management is full of depth, and there are more than enough resources to try to manage. Additionally, the amount of resources needed increases with the growth of each city, which is an excellent detail that not all games get right. I personally enjoy the difficulty of the early game, as it's not easy to earn money. I also enjoy the cross-cliff trading, as it allows you to change production on one cliff to, say, food, and on another cliff, you can set up a billion battery farms and ship those out elsewhere. Of course, I have started to worry about having enough space on my Central Cliff, as it's nearly full. Maybe the university will play a key role in making it all pan out, or maybe I'll have to downsize. Whatever the case, this game offers a great deal of fun, excitement, fear, sadness, and more. Every play session is a wild mix of emotions, and I can only imagine that it'll get better from here. 8/10. I love this game. No, not as much as Rimworld, but I love this game.
