Nox Plays... SimAirport (Two Runway Challenge) | Ep. 19: Extended Light Rail
Fuel upgrade? Check! Light rail upgrade? Check! Forgetting to fix the rest of the ugly flooring? Also check! We're coming upon the final days of our Two Runway Challenge, and it's during this time that we try to maximize our use of the open spaces we're left with after minimizing security. Naturally, passengers enjoy sitting near their gates to wait for their flights, so why not add some seating by the gates? To make life for our passengers even better, let's add some retail and restaurant stops by the gates so they can pick up something to eat! After these few additions (as well as sprucing up even more of the environment), passenger satisfaction has soared to above 70%. I'm sure that, with a little more work, we can get it to 80% and be well on our way to getting more of the flights that will net us a greater amount of money. Will we soon be able to fill our schedule to the brim and earn enough money to fill a swimming pool?

SimAirport is a modern tycoon-style simulation & management game where you design, build, and manage an airport.
Construct an airport from the ground up, hire your staff, choose airlines to work with, customize flight schedules, build out your infrastructure -- baggage conveyer systems & luggage services, public access roads, fuel pipelines, runway upgrades and maintenance, aircraft navigation aids, hangars and service vehicles, etc -- and much more.

Although I'm not a fan of flying, I could very easily live in an airport. To build one of my own has been a dream of mine, but the existing airport-building games all lack... something. In comes SimAirport. Despite it being in early access and having tons of kinks that need working out, it's exactly what I've been looking for all along. The cartoony graphics are right up my alley, the management aspect is reminiscent of Prison Architect, and the UI is familiar enough that it's easy to just pick this game up and play it to your heart's content. Now, if only I could live at my airport...
